We’d like to thank Gary Scott for serving on the Greenland Board of Education. Gary has served three years. Prior to serving, he worked as a teacher and substitute teacher. When we asked Gary why he chooses to serve as a school board member, he said he jumped at the opportunity because being involved with a school system is as important as any other position in the community. He enjoys serving and looks forward to the positive direction the District is headed.

We’d like to thank Audrey Fillmore for serving on the Greenland Board of Education. Audrey is a third generation Winslow Squirrel. She has four daughters who are all pirates. Serving runs deep in Audrey’s family. Her mom was a board member as well. When we asked Audrey why she chooses to serve as a school board member, she said it is important to support your school district and community for continued growth and education of our children. The winter weather isn't stopping kindergarten from celebrating the 100th Day of School! We have crowns with 100 jewels, drawings of us when we are 100 years old, Go Noodle Dance Parties, 100's Collections, a visit from Zero the Hero, and the biggest "0" in the school...the parachute! #Gr8Day2BaPirate #ReadEveryDay

We’d like to thank Billy Bryant for serving on the Greenland Board of Education. Billy, his wife Jennifer, and their oldest daughter are pirate alumni. They have three children who are current pirates. Billy was interested in theater and film in school and still is today. Billy is active in coaching peewee baseball and basketball. He also announces at our home football games. He jumps in anywhere help is needed. When we asked Billy why he chooses to serve as a school board member, he said to make sure every student has the same opportunity to succeed in the classroom and beyond. #Gr8Day2BaPirate #SchoolBoardAppreciationMonth
